FORZĀ®GLAZE
Studio Mixtura was inspired by traditional recipes from the Middle East and extended this knowledge with experiments on treated household waste provided by Renewi Mineralz. After long 4 years, in 2018, FORZĀ®Glaze received the patent, and products with it are now available on the market.

Renewi Mineralz is active in the recycling of mineral residues to secondary raw materials. The new raw materials are marketed under the brand name FORZĀ®. Studio Mixtura, together with Mineralz, has developed an application of FORZĀ® in the ceramic industry. This FORZĀ® application is marketed as FORZĀ® Glaze and can be used in both fine and coarse ceramic products. In this recipe, cleaned AEC bottom ash, among other ingredients, is used, making the total recipe consist of up to 60% with waste. This reduces the use of primary materials and makes products with FORZĀ®Glaze circular. Based on the wishes of the market, FORZĀ®Glaze can vary in color and shine. The products with FORZĀ® Glaze are suitable for consumer purposes and meet the applicable environmental requirements.
In 2018, FORZĀ®Glaze received the patent, and products with it are now available on the market. FORZĀ®Glaze was adopted by such companies as Urban Nature Culture Amsterdam in 100% Circular tableware and currently used in prodcution by Dijkstra Friese Kleiwarenfabriek (NL) in architectural products.
FORZĀ®Glaze on products such as faƧade tiles, brick slips, and glazed bricks can be seen in some realized projects in the Netherlands. Building of the Renswoude cityhall is a great example. The modern extension of the building was constructed in CLT and equipped with a circular ceramic facade of demountable brick strips with various greens of FORZĀ®Glaze. This created the opportunity to strongly connect the cityhall spatially with the forest on the other side of the road. The greenery now flows, as it were, from forest, to landscaped grounds, over the sedum-covered pathways into the building. The unique glazed facade enhances this effect and provides a great experience from the workplaces of greenery and the passing of the seasons.
