If we take a global view, how bad is food waste? It is becoming common knowledge that the situation is bad.
So bad in fact that, according to the UN, approximately one third of the food produced in the world, i.e. 1.3 billion tonnes, is wasted every year. This obviously has major environmental consequences, especially in terms of greenhouse gases.

If we translate these figures to our own households we get that 33% of the waste is only organic matter.

This is where Agro comes in. A brand that generates products made with biomaterials from organic waste as a solution to food waste and as an alternative to synthetic materials.

All this with the aim of to raise public awareness to establish ethical and sustainable values as a way of life.
